- Please refer to the photograph on the right.
- This is a photograph of Yangjae Interchange, an example
of the conventional cloverleaf interchange.
- For the cloverleaf interchange, the loop for left tern (A)
has the smaller radius r, and the loop for right turn has the
larger radius R, and its area is the highlighted perimeter
of the right turn only lanes.
- Applying left-right off ramp right merge non-stop interchange
to an intersection shown in Photograph 3 would only require
an area denoted by the smaller loop radius r and the area marked
by red lines (including area B).
- It is possible to construct an intersection marked by red
lines, because the intersections of the main roads are concave.
- We reiterate that the right turn only loop radius for non-stop
interchange is identical to the loop radius r for left turn
in a cloverleaf interchange. It is a non-stop interchange with
90-degree left and right turns rather than 270-degree turns.
